Natargeorgiou collection FW 2013

Non amo particolarmente le farfalle, devo dire la verità, a tratti le trovo anche inquietanti, soprattutto se mi si avvicinano. Ma quando ho visto la collezione di Natargeorgiou non ho pensato subito a questi insetti, ma alla leggerezza che mi  hanno comunicato le loro creazioni. Mi hanno colpita i colori, declinati nelle sfumature dell’azzurro, oro, arancio e fucsia;  gli abiti, spesso ricamati con brillanti fili metallici, che sono una seconda pelle che segue armoniosamente la silhouette in opposizione al volume dei maxi cardigan e dei bomberini; la leggerezza dell’organza, della seta, dei mix di pelle e velluto che percorrono la collezione FW 2013 del brand. Poi leggendo la presentazione della collezione ho letto che si ispirano alla “farfalla ali di vetro” e al suo volo libero nella natura. I don’t like the butterflies, I have to tell the truth, sometimes I find them a bit disturbing, especially if they come next to me. But when I saw the collection of Natargeorgiou I didn’t immediately thought of these, but the lightness their creations communicated. I was struck by the colors, declined in shades of blue, gold, orange and fuchsia; by the clothes, often embroidered with bright wires, which are a second skin that follows the silhouette harmoniously in opposition to the volume of maxi cardigans and bomber jackets; the lightness of organza, silk, mix of leather and velvet traveling through the FW 2013 collection. Then, reading, the presentation of the collection I read that it was inspired by the “butterfly glasswings” and its free flight in nature.
